We have released a new program, Asoftis PDF Editor, for Windows 10 and 11. It merges and splits PDFs, adds and rewrites text, fills in forms, signs documents with a certificate and redacts personal data. Everything happens on your own computer – documents are never uploaded anywhere.
The licence is purchased once and is perpetual, no subscription. Viewing and printing PDFs is free even without a licence, with no watermark and no time limit.
What the program can do
- several documents open at once in tabs, just like in a web browser
- merge, split, rotate and delete pages by drag and drop
- add and rewrite text directly on the page and fill in forms that have no fillable fields
- electronic signature with your own certificate, including smart cards (I.CA, PostSignum, eIdentity), and verification of other signatures under eIDAS
- redaction of personal data with real removal of the text, password protection (AES-256)
- page numbering, headers, footers, watermarks and stamps
- compress a large scan to a size that fits in an e-mail
- OCR – searchable PDF from a scanned document, including Czech diacritics
- opens XFA forms (such as statements from Czech health insurance companies) that stay blank in other programs
- batch processing of a whole folder with fourteen operations
- user interface in English, Czech, Slovak and Polish
The trial version has all features and no time limit – only a document you save with changes gets a watermark.
